Literally the worst experience I have ever had.I couldn’t even stay to get my hair cut. I booked this appointment... because I have had terrible haircuts in the past and was looking for a solid place to come and get a good cut that is close to me. I was greeted by who I believe to be Jeff and he literally came out and he stared me down while I was talking with a friend on the phone. I showed up 15 minutes early and when I went in he seemed upset that I was even there. He then proceeded to tell me the guy I booked with wasn’t there and that that’s what happens when you book last minute. Even though I booked an hour and a half ago. After calling his coworker and seeing where he was at he said he will be back soon as he walked away from me. At that point I told him it’s all good and walked away then he just made a smirk then chuckled a bit. I will never get a cut from this place.read more

Disrespectful and terrible customer service. My husband booked an available appointment online an hour before the... appointment time. He arrived 15 minutes early only to be stared down by a worker named Jeff who then asked him what he was doing there. My husband explained that he had an appointment and told him who with. Jeff then said “he left, that’s what happens when you book last minute”. Jeff then called the employee that was supposed to be working and told him that my husband had just booked the appointment in the parking lot. A total lie. My husband then said he would not be getting his hair cut there and left. Such a bummer as it is close to our home, and my husband was looking for a new barber. Absolutely unprofessional and immature behavior.read more

I scheduled a $30 “Adult haircut” appointment with Tawan and I was charged for a $50 “Adult Haircut w/ Beard... Treatment”. I don’t even have a beard. Tawan at the end of the appointment stated he added a “little extra to the cost” because it was a “complicated cut”, however I received a military style buzz cut which I could do myself at home, and again I do not have a beard. Tawan also stopped to take a personal call and repeatedly went on his phone, which made the appointment time run over.Tawan also took a video and/or pictures of me on his phone without my consent. I’ve been to many barbershops and this is by far the worst experience I’ve had. This was not a complicated cut and is one I receive several times a year at other barbershops. I am unhappy with the service I received, and I will not be returning to your establishment. Would not recommend.read more

Today was my first experience at King's and it will not be my last. On the recommendation of others I chose to come to... King to get my son's hair cut. Rose was my son's stylist and she was AMAZING! I showed her a couple of pictures of what I wanted and she nailed it. She was caring and kind to my son, as I had told her his first haircut experience was horrible for him. Teresa is very patient, gentle, particular, and cares very much about her clients and the end result. It is a pure joy going to see her, and King Culture is a fabulous business. In my experience, this is my favorite hair studio/salon/barber whatever you want to call it. It’s a warm, welcoming and... easygoing place. My son and I both go to Kate Myrthil for cuts and color. She is a master at what she does, and an all-around incredible human. Prices are reasonable which is hard to come by these days. We came here this evening for a hair cut for my son as a walk in. They only had 1 barber named Kate working, as the... others were out this week so she was all by herself. Kate was completely booked up but offered to work us in between her scheduled apointments tonight within 10 minutes or so of us walking in instead of us having to reschedule and come back. She was very friendly and knowledgeable, you can tell she knows what she is doing when it comes to hair. My son was very pleased and loves his haircut and now asked if we can start going here! Was definitely recommended to schedule in advance online about a week ahead even on there website due to how booked the barbers are.read more

Looking for a new barber for my teen son and I was very impressed with how quickly he was serviced. I love that this... place offers scheduled appointments! As a working professional, taking my son to get his haircut on Saturdays can be tedious and time consuming-At other places, he has had to go in and wait for his barber to become available, sometimes upwards of 2 hours! However here, I was able to schedule his appointment, arrived on time, and my son was finished in under 30 minuets! On top of that, my sons haircut was exactly as he likes it, and his line up was "Extra Crispy" Lol... 😉 We were greeted immediately when we arrived by the owner, and he was genuinely kind and welcoming.
