Where are you from: I grew up in a small town in Northwest Ohio.
Kids/Family: My husband and I have been married since 2020 and we have a 9 year old German Shepard furr child Romeo. We also hope to grow our family soon.
What did you do before King Culture: Before King Culture, I was working at another shop but also have worked as a Preschool teacher at a daycare and worked as an aide for children with special needs.
Favorite hairstyle to cut: My favorite cut is a bald fade
What do you like about King Culture? I like the family and community environment they have created not only for the barber/stylist but for the clients as well
What do you see for yourself in the future? My dream would be to open my own shop or school. Teaching has always been something I loved and would love to be able to teach the future of the industry.
What’s your definition of customer service? My definition of customer service is to make them feel comfortable as possible. Especially when it comes to the consultation in the chair.
How/why did you start cutting hair? I decided to start cutting hair back in high school and it was the best decision of my life, then 10 years later decided to enhance my skill by going to barber school to learn how to use a straight razor and different textures of hair.
What do you look for in a barber when you get your hair styled? I look for someone that is proud of the work they do by sharing on social media. Someone that is going to take the time to understand what I want when I explain.
What questions are good to ask your barber or cosmetologist? What are good products to use in my hair? Does this haircut fit my face size and shape?
